Data Modeler - GBM

We are hiring for leading Data Analytics company, based out in Mumbai & Pune.  

Please note: Immediate or serving Notice period will be preferable.

Location:Pune/Mumbai

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with business requirements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
• Design and implement efficient database structures, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Optimize existing data models for better performance and scalability.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in database design and optimization.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data models into overall system architecture.
• Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators, and other IT professionals to ensure seamless implementation of data models.
• Implement and enforce data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the development and documentation of data standards and guidelines.Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, contributing insights to inform data model improvements.
• Create comprehensive documentation for data models, database designs, and related processes.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to project planning, providing accurate time estimates and ensuring timely delivery of data modeling tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Modeler with a focus on data projects.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin,etc.), Snowflake schema, Logical Model, data warehousing
• In-depth knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and optimization.
• Familiarity with various database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with data governance practices and frameworks.
• Project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies. Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
