Position : Data Engineer II
Experience : 4+ Years
Working location : Chennai (WFO)
Mandatory Skill : SQL, SSRS, SSIS & Power BI.
Must have hands on exp in SQL Query writing.
Responsibilities
• Create and maintain ETL / ELT processes
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes,
optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
• Support and contribute to the process of finalizing enterprise data warehouse / data lake
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer
acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with
data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and
optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
• Do research on new data platforms, data visualization tools and analysis.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• 3+ years of working with data sources, databases, queries and analytics.
• Knowledge of SQL to build queries and Query Optimization Techniques.
• Knowledge of the ETL process using SSIS or ADF (Azure Data Factory)
• Familiarity with various database types.
• Familiarity with cloud environment and their services.
• Strong analytical skills in working with data.
• Ability to build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency,
and workload management.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• Development skills in Python or similar languages
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer
specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
