Position: Senior Java Developer
Experience: 7 - 10 years of Java development experience
Location: Chennai (Hybrid)
Notice Period: Immediate - 30 days.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications for the platform as a service company.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan, and execute the development of new features and enhancements.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability to handle millions of requests with a latency of around 50 milliseconds.
- Utilize expertise in data structures and algorithms to design efficient and optimized code.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy and manage applications on AWS.
- Take ownership of technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development, including a strong understanding of Core Java concepts.
- Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and their practical implementation in real-world applications.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its various services.
- Prior experience in core development within a high-traffic and low-latency environment is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
