Responsibilities
- Lead and guide teams in delivering scalable, low-latency architecture and cost-effective solutions to various product teams.
- Identify areas of concern within the existing codebase and devise corrective measures.
- Implement solutions by harnessing various open-source distributed systems to deliver fully-fledged products.
- Ensure timely execution of solutions to address gaps and technical debt.
- Pioneering novel solutions from scratch and collaborating with architects and engineers from other product teams to build and promote these solutions.
- Regularly review code and architectural changes to provide timely feedback, maintain code clarity, streamline complexities, and advocate best practices.
- Stay updated on technological advancements and consistently explore ways to leverage them to enhance product delivery and quality.
- Assist the team in identifying and executing features with the right trade-offs without compromising quality and delivery.
- Develop cohesive development strategies across the organization.
Requirements
- Proficient in JavaScript, Java, C++ or other programming languages.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in a product or startup environment.
- Proficiency in designing for scalability and performance.
- Capability to conduct peer code reviews.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
