Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Key Skills
DevOps & SRE Tools:
- Automation: Expertise in tools like CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform.
- CI/CD: Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
- Monitoring: Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.
- API & Load Balancing: Understanding of REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, API Gateway, and Load Balancing.
SRE Specific Skills:
- Reliability & Performance Engineering: Ability to improve system reliability, availability, and performance at scale.
- Incident Management: Experience in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Scalability & High Availability: Expertise in building highly scalable and available systems.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of AWS data services such as DMS, Glue, Athena, and Redshift.
- Prior experience in startup environments.
- Experience working with distributed teams.
Experience:
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Proficiency in one programming language (Python, Go, or Shell scripting).
- Familiarity with RDBMS/NoSQL databases like Postgres or MongoDB.
- Experience with Docker, microservices, and cloud-native tools (Kubernetes).
