Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. QA Automation Engineer to join our Platform and Integration teams. In this role, you will design and develop system-level automation tests, primarily focusing on API-level testing using Python. You will collaborate with our QA lead in Europe and take a leadership role in driving automation initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the quality strategy and implement the best tools and platforms for enhancing automation testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Platform and Integration teams to understand system components and their functions.
- Design and develop robust automation tests for system-level functionalities, with a strong focus on API testing using Python.
- Lead automation testing initiatives, especially if you have experience with system-level testing.
- Research, recommend, and implement the right automation tools and frameworks to enhance the testing process.
- Work independently, engaging cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve test coverage.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with various teams and stakeholders, providing comprehensive documentation and reports.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in product engineering and automation testing.
- Expertise in system-level automation and API-level testing.
- Proficiency in Python for automation testing.
- Experience with various automation tools and test platforms.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working with international teams, particularly in Europe.
- Leadership experience in automation testing projects.
