Staff Engineer (C & C++) - Windows - GSK (Remote)

We are hiring for our leading client into cloud, data & network security across the globe with fortune 500 companies as their client using their application.  

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BS) required.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science (MS) strongly preferred.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in endpoint, network, or cloud security solutions product development.
  • Proficient programming skills in C and C++.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, with in-depth system-level experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining cloud, network, or endpoint security solutions on Windows.
  • Expertise in data structures and algorithms.
  • Proven experience in writing Windows-based code.
  • Solid understanding of Windows file systems and OS fundamentals.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and familiarity with unit testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of web data formats such as JSON, XML, and MIME.
  • Understanding of cryptography techniques.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to open and transparent collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team of talented engineers to develop client/agent technologies for Windows, supporting holistic data security solutions.
  • Write multi-threaded code in C and C++ using modern software development techniques.
  • Analyze requirement specifications, research and identify appropriate solutions, and design and implement features ensuring reliability, scalability, and observability.
  • Partner with Product Management to gather and understand requirements.
  • Develop and execute dev test routines for your modules.
  • Work closely with QA teams to enhance product testing processes.
