Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate Technical Evanglist/Developer Advocate / Solutions Engineer to join India team. This role combines technical expertise, community engagement, presales enablement, and developer advocacy. You will build awareness, create technical content, engage with developer communities, and support customers with solution design, demos, and adoption of analytics platform.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a technical evangelist, showcasing in developer communities, conferences, meetups, and online forums.
Build demos, sample code, tutorials, and technical content (blogs, webinars, GitHub projects).
Work closely with solutions architects and sales teams to deliver PoCs, technical deep-dives, and presales support.
Engage with the developer community via Slack, GitHub, StackOverflow, and open-source contributions.
Translate customer and developer feedback into actionable insights for product improvement.
Support clients in adoption, SQL performance tuning, and database optimization.
Partner with marketing to deliver presentations, whitepapers, and technical case studies.
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in developer advocacy, presales engineering, or customer success in the data/analytics ecosystem.
Strong expertise in databases and SQL (query optimization, performance tuning, scripting).
Hands-on experience with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, SingleStore, Cloudera, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
Programming knowledge in Python, Scala, or Java (bonus: R, Go, or Lua).
Experience with big data frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills: public speaking, content creation, technical writing.
Comfortable working in multicultural, customer-facing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a Developer Advocate / Technical Evangelist / Solutions Engineer at a database, cloud, or analytics company.
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
Proven record of speaking at industry conferences, meetups, or webinars.
Active contributor in open-source or developer communities.
