Role Overview:
The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing a secure, scalable, and automated DevOps environment. The role involves embedding automation and operational excellence throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure stability and high-velocity delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate build, test, and release processes.
Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CDK.
Drive containerization and deployment using Docker and AWS (EKS, Lambda).
Integrate and maintain DevSecOps tools like Snyk and SonarQube for proactive code quality and security.
Collaborate across development, security, and operations teams to align DevOps goals with product needs.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Sumo Logic, Splunk, and AWS-native tools.
Promote best practices in DevOps, including Git branching strategies and environment standardization.
Provide mentorship and documentation for pipelines, architecture, and DevOps standards.
Support day-to-day BAU operations—deployment, monitoring, access control, and cost optimization.
Automate integrations using Workato and maintain Backstage as the central developer portal.
Required Skills:
Must-Have:
Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFront, WAF, API Gateway, etc.)
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools – GitLab, Git
Experience with Terraform and AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code)
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Ruby)
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with security and quality tools (Snyk, SonarQube)
Good-to-Have:
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Sumo Logic)
Exposure to automation/integration platforms like Workato
Knowledge of Backstage Developer Portal
AWS DevOps Engineer certification
Eligibility / Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience: 5–8 years of relevant DevOps experience
Certifications (Optional): AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days (Preferred)
