Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will play a key role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships, and expanding our client base within the executive search and leadership hiring space. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, a strong understanding of the leadership hiring market, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within key industries and markets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients, including C-suite executives and senior management.
  • Conduct business meetings, presentations, and pitches to potential clients to understand their leadership hiring needs and tailor our solutions accordingly.
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
  • Conduct market research and stay up to date on industry trends, client requirements, and competitor offerings to inform the development of strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine and enhance service offerings and ensure alignment with client needs.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
  • Meet and exceed business development targets and KPIs, driving revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales pipeline, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Work closely with the marketing and recruitment teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Client Retention & Satisfaction:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the hiring process, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership.
  • Engage in regular follow-ups with clients post-placement to assess success and identify further business opportunities.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with leadership and recruitment teams to develop tailored hiring strategies for clients.
  • Act as the voice of the client within the organization, ensuring clear communication of client needs and expectations.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management, ideally within executive search, leadership hiring, or recruitment.
  • Proven track record of generating new business, building client relationships, and closing high-value deals.
  • Strong understanding of leadership hiring processes, including executive search and talent acquisition strategies.
Skills:
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into effective talent solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Salesforce experience is a plus).
